Dawn fell in love with Lacey at a dog show in Iowa when she was 5 weeks of age. When she was old enough to go to her new home, we were in the process of starting to build our new home and knew we wouldn't have time to raise a puppy as well as we could normally so we passed on her. After saying "no", we were quite sad for a long time. Through a series of events, Lacey became available in 2010 and the day after Kathy said we could have her, Kevin jumped in the car and drove 14 hours round-trip to bring home our beautiful black brindle girl. Lacey has been a wonderful addition to our house. She is a great house dog, very sweet and sensitive, yet loves to have a great time. Lacey produced 4 litters and 17 puppies in total. Many of those puppies are champions and titled in obedience, rally, and other performance events. Lacey's grandchildren have gained a lot of attention - they are Best in Futurity Winner, Reserve Winners Dog at the National Specialty, Top 20 Winner, Reserve BIS and Reserve BIS OH, and field champions.
